BILL DAY’S CREATIVE RANGE PART 51

Daryl Cagle responded to a terrific article on Poynter by Andrew Beaujon regarding Bill Day’s plagiarism and serial self-plagiarism.  In it he tells Beaujon,

Revising old works can be lazy or clever, depending on how it is done….It would be a problem if editors complained or if readers noticed and didn’t like what they saw. With competing editorial cartoonists circling and smelling Bill’s blood in the water, I think it would be a good time for Bill to give up riffing on his old cartoons, and I’ve told him that.

The cartoon above is Bill Day’s newest cartoon to date!  Open your eyes! HE’S STILL DOING IT DARYL!!!  Given Daryl’s comments, I think any readers who notice should complain on the cartoon’s page.  If Bill Day’s serial self-plagiarism bothers you too, I urge you to complain on the cartoon’s page linking to these images.

To add further injury, the image is a rip off of David Horsey’s 2001 cartoon.
